Colour dark garnet. This wine has been aged on a wooden barrel, and the aroma is clearly recognizable with notes of vanilla and coffee along with very ripe blackcurrants accompanied by aromas of ripe plums. The palate is then very strong and spicy, with a nose of stone fruit accompanied by baked toast and dark chocolate.
Considering the geographical location of the winery - the north of Austria - it is incredible how amazing a red wine Mr Dworzak has created. There is also at least moderate archival potential. Recommended with game.
