Heideboden is the name given to the flat vineyards between the Parndorfer Platte, Lake Neusiedl and the Hungarian border.
The colour of this wine is dark red with purple highlights. The nose is clean, with vanilla, blackberries, blueberries, chocolate and, thanks to its resting on a braai barrel, a subtle hint of vanilla. Clean, juicy on the palate, strong, ripe tannin structure, invigorating acidity, dark berry fruit, slightly smoky notes, medium-long finish with caramel notes on the palate.
The Austrian gourmet and wine-lover magazine Falstaff awarded this wine 89 points.
